Utility for creating bootable USB drives
RMPrepUSB is a free utility program for PCs by RM Educational Software Inc. This is a disk manager that can help users create bootable USB drives used for various types of applications. They can use it if they need to install an operating system, troubleshoot issues, and many more.
Much like Rufus or Easy2Boot, RMPrepUSB facilitates the preparation of USB drives for the creation of boot disks, starting from formatting to copying data to them, and all the necessary steps to make them recognizable by computers. Every step is done in a consolidated user interface for ease of use.
Getting USB drives ready
Creating boot disks from USB drives comes in handy with more than just needing to install a fresh operating system to your computer. Some of the other things it's used for are diagnostics to troubleshoot issues, running live instances of utilities, and others. RMPrepUSB is a tool to help you prepare your portable storage devices and copy the apps or OS you need.
There are six steps to using this utility, with the first two being setting the Partition Size and Volume Label. Next is picking the correct Bootloader that your computer will recognize. After that, choose the Filesystem and what type of storage drive you're using. Lastly, select your locally stored file and click Prepare Drive. Wait for it to finish and test to see if it boots.
Other notable features include the option to test with the QEMU Emulator, adding EXT partitions, and a couple of others. You can even opt to use the grub4dos or syslinux, which are universal and Linux-based bootloaders. Now, despite the single-windowed nature of its UI, using it for the first time can be daunting and confusing for beginners as they are given so much information at once.
Capable but convoluted
All in all, RMPrepUSB is a good option if you're looking for a tool to help you create boot drives from your USB devices. It offers multiple bootloader options, filesystems, and a lot of other handy extra features to explore and utilize. While the UI leaves much to be desired and is initially confusing, it gets the job done all the same.

Great Software.
This is one of the best software to prepare your usb stick to be bootable. I used it to make windows 7 bootable on xp pro machine. I need about 10 minutes to complete everything.
Just copy your windows 7 dvd into folder at your desktop, run rmprepusb. Choose "bootloader" options, choose "filesystem and overrides", browse for folder with windows 7 copied few moments before and start process with button "prepare drive." wait for a few minutes and that's it. Your bootable usb with windows 7 is ready. You can make at the same way xp, or linux bootable usb. More
